I'm assuming you are one block away from the lock when you try to go south.At that point I would suggest going 1 block right, 2 down, then 1 left. I've just played through the game again myself using the image I uploaded and was able to navigate the maze myself.

Sorry about that. I tried to make that portion of the puzzle hard, but it seems like it was still too hard. Here is a guide to help you get through.
Tried that. But when I try to go southward it just...stops me
